Docks#
The docks provide quick access to key information about your offline data, sensor and device storage space status, ATC position report and departure/arrival waypoints. Tapping on a docks opens a tab with further details. To close it, simply tap anywhere on the map.
Data downloads#
Downloaded SmartChart around your route or a waypoint can be accessed from the dock. Once stored on your device, these map areas remain available even without an internet connection.
Download SmartChart for your route#
On the Menu bar, (for Mobile version tap Map Menu) tap
Select the route you want to download from one of the following folder: My saved routes, Local and imported routes or your Air Navigation Manager organization
Select Download SmartChart, then tap OK

icon will appear in the Data downloads dock while the download is in progress
To remove the downloaded smartchart, tap the

beside the waypoint in the docks and select Remove
Download SmartChart around a waypoint#
On the Moving Map, tap the waypoint you want to download.
Select Download SmartChart.
Choose the radius of the waypoint you want to download.
Tap OK to confirm.
To modify the radius, tap the
or
icon beside the waypoint in the docks and select Modify.
Choose your desired radius, then tap OK.
Select Center on map to quickly locate the downloaded waypoint on the map.
To remove the downloaded SmartChart, tap the
or
icon beside the waypoint in the docks and select Remove
Resolution Centre#
The Resolution Centre provides a centralized list of system and device-related issues detected by the app, helping ensure optimal performance and flight safety. Status Indicator (Coloured Dot Icon) located on the second dock, the coloured dot provides a quick visual status:
green - no issue detected
red - problem detected
amber - if nothing is done, an issue might happen.
Examples of Detectable Issues:
GPS Error – GPS signal is lost or unreliable
Barometer Error – Sensor malfunction or unavailable pressure data
Low Device Storage – Insufficient storage may impact performance or data recording
ATC#
The ATC feature provides sample phrases you can use to communicate your status to Air Traffic Control. It serves as a helpful reference for proper radio communication.
Note
ATC features are only available on iPads and larger iPhone screens, such as the iPhone 6 and newer.
Departure and Arrival dock#
When a route is created on the map, the Departure and Arrival docks automatically appear. Each dock displays tabs with key information, including its charts, documents, and communication frequencies, along with surrounding Environment data, current Weather conditions, and active NOTAMs.
Create a route on the moving map.
On the right side of the screen below the ATC, the identifier of the Departure waypoint and the identifier of the Arrival waypoint are displayed.

Departure / Arrival#
On this tab you will have access to the charts and documents related to the waypoint as well as its frequencies.
When you tap on a chart, it will be displayed on the Moving Map, activating the following icons:
Lets you switch between available charts and display on the map.
Hides the currently displayed chart on the map.
Environment#
Displays key information about the airfield’s location and its surroundings, including elevation, coordinates, sunrise/sunset times, radio navigation aids (with distance and radial), runway details, and any nearby obstacles.
Weather#
Provides weather information gathered from nearby weather stations around the airfield. The app uses this data to calculate altitudes based on current conditions and displays the METAR. You can tap on a station to view a detailed weather report, which includes the TAF (Terminal Aerodrome Forecast) when available.
NOTAM#
Nearby NOTAMs for the waypoints will be displayed in a list. Tapping on a NOTAM will open its complete details.
